Lena Headey revealed that she lost acting roles for not flirting with casting directors
The 43-year old Game of Thrones star opened up about the darker side of securing a job in the acting industry, recalling a shocking revelation made to her by a casting director years ago.
"When I was in my twenties, and doing a lot of audition tapes in the States," Lena told The Edit. "A casting director told me: 'The men take these tapes home and watch them and say, Who would you f**k?'"
The actress, who plays Cersei Lannister in the hit HBO fantasy series, went on to say that she has never flirted in order to land a job, saying: "I've never played the game of going in [to auditions] and flirting. I've never done it."
