George Bush readmitted to hospital for the second time this year
The former US President was taken to a hospital in Houston on Friday because of a “persistent cough that prevented him from getting proper rest”, his spokesman Jim McGrath claimed.
In a statement Mr McGrath added: “It was subsequently determined he had a mild case of pneumonia, which was treated and has been resolved.

The 92-year-old was first admitted to hospital in January, and he spent more than two weeks after initially developing pneumonia.
He spent his 72nd wedding anniversary on January 6 in an intensive care unit, while his wife Barbara Bush, 91, was also receiving treatment for bronchitis.
But the 92-year-old who is America’s oldest living ex-president, “is going to be fine”, the spokesman said.

Mr Bush served a single term in the Oval Office as America's 41st commander-in-chief from 1989 to 1992.
He is also the father of President George W. Bush, who served two terms in the White House from 2001 through 2008.

His other son, former Florida Governor Jeb Bush, unsuccessfully sought the 2016 Republican nomination for president.
