For Honor beta pre-loading is now available on PS4, Xbox One and PC
The For Honor beta can now be downloaded in preparation for its launch later this week.
From February 9 through February 12, all players on Xbox One, PS4, and PC will be able to download the For Honor open beta, Ubisoft has confirmed.
While it will be similar to the recently ended closed beta, this new For Honor trial run will also include the new Elimination mode – a best-of-five series of four-on-four matches with no respawns.
Other modes listed as playable include the Dominion, Brawl, and Duel modes.
Fans will also be able to continue the War of the Factions, giving you the chance to lead your chosen army to victory and claim rewards when the full game launches on February 14.

For Honor launches February 14
Before the open beta begins, a squad of celebrity warriors and top streamers will take to Twitch to continue the War of the Factions and show off the Elimination mode.
This will Feature Lauren Cohan, Jason Momoa, Alfie Allen, and Demetrious Johnson, while the livestreamed battle begins February 7 at 10PM UK time, and you can catch it live on the For Honor Twitch Channel.
Fans who participated in the For Honor closed beta should be able to simply patch their closed beta client when the open beta is released.
Ubisoft confirmed that For Honor Pre-loading was now available through a recent email sent out and should prove very handy for those thinking of buying the full game.
This is due to the fact that For Honor review codes will not be sent out to relevant parties until after the game is released, this is partly because of the online aspect of the game.
It was recently revealed that while the For Honor release date plans for 2017 do not currently include the Nintendo Switch, this could change if the game proves popular on the other platforms.
That’s according to Ubisoft’s For Honor director Jason VandenBerghe, who has confirmed that while the new console is not in the team’s current plans, success could pave the way.
However, this will mean the game becoming a top-selling item on PS4, PC and Xbox One, the For Honor release date has been set for February 14.
