Crystal Palace chairman Steve Parish described Spurs’ £12 million bid for his club’s young star last August as “ridiculous” and Spurs made more unsuccessful enquiries in January.
But Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino is still a major fan of the 24 year old and he is determined to land his man.
Spurs are monitoring Zaha’s situation, as well as Palace’s, as the South London club struggle against relegation.

Palace rate Zaha, who declared himself for the Ivory Coast ahead of the 2017 African Cup of Nations after earlier in his career appearing for England in no competitive games, at around £25m.

Meanwhile, Tottenham midfielder Harry Winks has signed a new contract with the club that runs through to 2022.
The 21-year-old Spurs academy product, who was handed his senior debut in 2014, has made 25 appearances in all competitions so far this season.
He has featured in the first XI eight times, including twice in the Premier League and twice in the Champions League and it was only in September that he signed a new deal to 2021.
