Everton and Tottenham will have to wait until the summer to sign Feyenoord midfielder Ozancan Kokcu.
Netherlands youth international Kokcu, 18, has been tracked by both clubs in recent weeks.
Spurs are keen on the player, whose contract expires at the end of the season, claim The Times.

But the Toffees are also pushing for Kokcu, who cannot move without Feyenoord receiving compensation due to his age.
Everton could do deals before tonight's 11pm deadline
Everton have received offers for striker Arouna Kone, Ronald Koeman has confirmed.
Kone, 33, has played just six games for Everton all season.
He has not scored in the Premier League since a hat-trick against Sunderland back in November 2015.
He is out of contract at the end of the season and manager Ronald Koeman is happy to let him leave.
“I don’t know (if it will be before the window), he is training and doing well but he likes to play…we have used other players than Arouna.
“I have had some offers for him.”
