Ronald Koeman has reportedly won the race to sign Caio Emerson
Everton seem to have beaten Barcelona and Liverpool in the race to sign Corinthians striker Caio Emerson.
The 17-year-old is yet to be offered a professional contract at the Brazilian club, sparking a bidding war from some of Europe's top clubs.
Emerson turns 18 next month, meaning he is free to join a club in Europe on his birthday and Sport Witness say that Everton will be his next destination.

His agent, Taciano Pimenta, claimed that Everton are in talks over a potential move but refused to confirm whether a deal was firmly in place.
“We can’t confirm it because it can’t be agreed until he turns 18,” Pimenta told Sport Witness.
