James McCarthy will miss Everton's clash with Liverpool due to injury
The Toffees midfielder is out of Saturday's Merseyside derby against Liverpool and faces a lay off of "several weeks" after aggravating a hamstring complaint while on duty with Ireland.
But Everton are unhappy having told him he could have made the derby had he stayed with them only for him to go against their medical department's advice.
