Phil Jagielka will not be leaving Everton on transfer deadline day
Phil Jagielka has been linked with a late move away from Everton with the transfer deadline fast approaching at 11pm tonight.
The 34-year-old is reportedly a target for Sunderland who have already signed Darron Gibson and Bryan Oviedo from the Toffees this week.
However, Ronald Koeman has claimed he has held talks with Jagielka and agreed he will not leave the club this month.

“I spoke to Phil and he accepts it – we spoke about his position and the need to fight like everybody who is not involved or starting because we need competition.
