Anthony Watson could be playing rugby again for Eddie Jones' England at the end of the month
Watson missed the autumn internationals with a broken jaw and has been struggling with a hamstring problem in 2017.
However, the Bath winger was last night named in Jones’ 25-man training squad ahead of their next Six Nations game against Italy on February 26.
The Twickenham clash will see England go for their 17th consecutive victory and take the third of five steps in a historic quest for back-to-back Six Nations Grand Slams.

Could this be a possible Lions XV based on Six Nations peformances?
But success will not see Jones develop any complacency and he looks set to ring the changes in England’s forwards and backs against Italy.
Dynamic 21-year-old Ellis Genge of Leicester and Northampton’s Paul Hill have both been included to provide competition in the front row for Dan Cole, Joe Marler and Kyle Sinckler.
There is no place for prop Mako Vunipola though – the 26-year-old will have to prove his fitness after suffering a knee injury in early January.

Anthony Watson has been back in action for Bath and wants his England place back
Anthony Watson's return could see England colleague Mike Brown dropped
And while a reshuffle up front seems likely, Watson’s return could also see the backline changed.
Elliot Daly, England’s try-scoring hero on the wing in the dying minutes against Wales, is a centre by trade but Jones is understood to be considering switching him to full-back.
The move would see Mike Brown dropped while Jonathan Joseph, who shares a flat with Watson, retains his place at outside centre.
