The pregnant character (played by Emily Head) feared that she had lost Robert Sugden’s (Ryan Hawley) baby, before seemingly exiting the soap entirely.
However, towards the end of the episode a more positive turn of events happened.
As Robert finally made his way to the hospital under duress, sister Chrissie (Louise Marwood) announced: “The baby is fine. They’re going to keep her in overnight to monitor the cramps.”
Robert is still refusing to have anything to do with their child, which was conceived during a regretful one-night stand.

Stubborn, Robert snapped: “Come on, I knew it would be a waste of time.”
Back beside her hospital bed, Rebecca said: “They said I could go home. I didn’t see much point.
“I’m sorry. I’m tired of all the fighting and dad clearly doesn’t want anything to do with me.”
Hinting at some possible time away from the show, Rebecca added: “I’ve made my mind up.
