Finn (played by Joe Gill) is taking his rejection by Kasim (Ethan Kai) rather badly and next week will trash his ex-lover's house in revenge.
As the youngest member of the Barton clan, Finn has usually been the least trouble but recently his behaviour has changed.
His obsessive actions send alarm bells ringing for his mother Emma (Gillian), who begins to see more of herself in her son.
“Emma is shocked to see him behave like this,” Gillian told Soaplife. “But she can see that there are parallels between her and her son.”
Emma will try to intervene to stop Finn heading further down a dangerous path.

However, Finn is later arrested by the police in connection with the incident.
Things begin to spiral even further as the Barton Brothers taxi is torched in a suspected case of arson.
Finn tries to link the fire to Kasim but his brother Ross (Michael Parr) is not convinced.
All the time the Barton matriarch is having to deal with the fact that she is responsible for Finn’s father’s death.

Emmerdale's most dramatic moments
Emma seems to have got away with her murderous crime so far but Gillian promised her character would eventually have to face up to what she has done.
“She tries not to think about what she did, but occasionally it hits her like a punch in the stomach,” Gillian continued.
“These things have a habit of coming out and, if and when it does, it’ll be hideously painful.”
Emmerdale continues tonight at 9pm on ITV.
