At the end of yesterday's instalment of the BBC soap, Lauren (played by Jacqueline Jossa) took a test that came back positive, whipping viewers into a frenzy on social media as they rushed to speculate about the identity of the father.
Her boyfriend Steven Beale (Aaron Sidwell) has been going to extreme lengths to get her pregnant, even poking holes in condoms leaving fans disgusted as his underhand behaviour after Lauren said she wasn't ready for another child.
Although Steven has also started stalking his girlfriend, watching her every move and tracking her via an app, EastEnders viewers think they might have spotted a upcoming twist in the storyline.
With Lauren growing closer by the minute to her hunky boss, Josh (Eddie Eyre), some fans believe the baby might not be Steven's, predicting that, after the work colleagues shared a steamy kiss, they might have had a secret romance that hasn't been shown on screen.

Taking to Twitter to debate their theory, one fan commented: "I'm hoping that the baby is somehow Josh's and it's gonna reveal a secret affair."
"I reckon there's gonna be a plot twist and Josh is actually the father of Lauren's baby," another added, while a third thought they had spotted a dramatic twist, saying: "Imagine if Josh and Lauren have sex with Steven's pierced condom."
Fans were left reeling after Steven's plan to get Lauren pregnant took a sinister turn, with him piercing the condom behind her back in an attempt to sabotage her after she insisted she wanted to get her career back on track before having another baby.

Elsewhere in last night's episode, eagle-eyed viewers spotted a huge blunder when Stacey Fowler (Lacey Turner) and her husband Martin Fowler (James Bye) hopped on a London Underground train to get out of Walford.
When the pair were joined by Michelle Fowler (Jenna Russell), many fans observed that the train didn't actually appear to have gone anywhere, taking to social media to point out the it never seemed to move.
"I'm sorry but I've never known a tube train to stay stationary for hat long," one viewer tweeted, while another blasted: "The #EastEnders tube is hilarious. It never moves."
