The BBC show has avoided an investigation by the broadcasting watchdog as the episode didn't show "graphic" detail, although some previously argued that Martin Fowler's bloodied face was pretty graphic.
Ofcom also considered that the bus crash plot was part of a "long-running storyline", so the case will not be continued.
The regulator received 44 complaints in total, 33 after the first episode, and a further 11 after the continuing follow-up episode.
An Ofcom spokesperson said: "We considered 33 complaints that scenes of a bus crash were offensive, in light of recent actual events.

Martin Fowler got stuck underneath a double-decker bus that crashed into the market
EastEnders' bus crash storyline featured a crowded market protest gathering on Bridge street, before a driver diverted his vehicle as he clutched his chest and ploughed into the market.
Those at home complained on social media, with one tweeting post-broadcast: "Bit insensitive storyline this from EastEnders Glasgow bin lorry crash, the lorry in France and Berlin Christmas markets #EastEnders."
"#EastEnders Poor taste only a month after the Berlin attack on a market. Didn't expect that. Too close a storyline to some real life events lately #sensitive issues," posted another.
A third said: "Vehicle crashing into EastEnders market… Just a month after Berlin Christmas market crash… Little insensitive if you ask me #EastEnders."
