Mike Pence made it very clear Mr Trump fully intends to deliver on every promise he made during his election campaign, which included building a wall along the Mexican border and securing thousands of jobs for America's disgruntled workforce.
The Republican revealed the fact Mr Trump has “a day one plan, a day 100 plan and a day 200 plan to ensure he keeps promises made to the American people”.
More than 90 “experts and advisers” have been helping to shape these plans, Mr Pence revealed.
A new Office of Wider Engagement has been founded to conduct face-to-face meetings with business leaders, members of the public and industry experts to gage the opinions of the American people and enshrine their wishes into policy.
Mr Trump has penned a contract to the American voter in which he vows to renegotiate NAFTA or withdraw from the deal altogether, announce a withdrawal from the Trans-Pacific Partnership, slam China for being a currency manipulator, scrap environmental constraints and ensure $50 trillion woth of new jobs.
He has also been very open about repealing Obamacare, although he has been less clear about what he intends to replace it with.

Mr Pence thanked outgoing President Barack Obama and his Vice President Joe Biden for working hard to ensure a smooth transition period between the two regimes.
He then used a confusing turn of phrase to thank his staff who have helped to deliver Mr Trump’s transition.

The 57-year-old Indiana-born politician also announced Mr Trump was returning 20 per cent of his allotted budget for transitioning into office.
He said: “Donald Trump is a smart business man who knows how to sharpen his pencil.
“I’m pleased to report this transition is coming in on time and under budget.”

Speaking ahead of Mr Trump’s inauguration tomorrow, January 20, at 5pm GMT, Mr Pence said: “There’s an old saying back home in Indiana that says when you see a box turtle on a fence post you know it had some help getting there.
“It has been my privilege to chair this team and thanks them for all their hard, seven days a week work.”
Mr Trump's 35-word swearing-in will happen on a 10,000 square foot specially-built platform on Capitol Hill in front of thousands of people, including Mr Obama and his vanquished Democrat rival Hillary Clinton.
