Demonstrators gathered in London to protest against the new President of the United States.

The rally matches many marches which have taken place across the globe following Donald Trump becoming the 45th President of the United States.

The billionaire’s inauguration yesterday was seen all over the world sparking protests and riots in America and the UK.

Protests today have already kicked off in Sydney, Australia and New Zealand.

Organisers aim to march in solidarity with the Women’s March in Washington, as they highlight women’s rights which they believe to be under threat from the new US administration.

Charlotte Church joined the march against President Trump with a bizarre sign as she walked alongside demonstrators in Cardiff.

The singer reportedly turned down an invite to perform at the President’s inauguration and has joined protesters instead.

A protest took place on Friday night against Mr Trump at London’s US embassy as violence spilled out.

The London march will begin outside the US embassy before it finishes at Trafalgar Square.

Supporters have claimed that the march will cover concerns over issues including racial and gender equality, affordable healthcare, abortion and voting rights.

In the UK demonstrations are scheduled to take place in Belfast, Cardiff, Leeds, Liverpool and Manchester, as well as many more.

In the footage the Women’s March outside the US Embassy can be seen starting as people stand with hand made signs.

On Friday President Trump spoke at his inauguration in which he spoke to the American people vowing to succeed for them.

He said: “Today’s ceremony has very special meaning. We are not just transferring power from one party to another.

“We are transferring power from Washington DC and giving it back to you, the people.

“We will face challenges, we will confront hardships, but we will get the job done.”

It has been reported that around 700 marches are planned on Saturday across the globe.

Demonstrations have already taken place in Austraia, New Zealand and Japan against the new President of America.

In Sydney in Australia thousands of protesters took to the streets with banners and placards as pro-Trump supporters flew a plane over the demonstration to spell out the President’s name in the sky.

Prime Minister Theresa May has supported a special relationship between the UK and the US as talks of a quick trade deal have been planned as Britain prepares to leave the European Union.
