Donald Trump and wife Melania hosted the 139th annual White House Easter Egg Roll today
Mr Trump and the First Lady were joined on the balcony by their son Barron and an Easter Bunny, as the festivities began at 7.30am.
The Trumps spared no expense in making sure the Egg Roll was impressive, enlisting the services of the event planners behind Pope Francis’s visit to the US in 2015.

The tradition of children rolling wooden eggs on the White House’s South Lawn dates back to 1878, and the First Lady’s communications director said Mrs Trump was keen to embrace the family-focused event.
“She wanted to get back to the tradition, so we’re bringing back some traditional elements, like military bands, and focusing on the family itself,” said Stephanie Grisham.
