According to the MailOnline, Wenger has held talks with Arsenal’s French scout Gilles Grimandi about increasing scouting plans in his homeland.
Arsenal have always had a strong contiguent of French players, such as Thierry Henry, Patrick Vieira, Robert Pires, Nicolas Anelka and Emmanuel Petit.
The current Gunners squad contains France stars Laurent Koscielny, Olivier Giroud and Francis Coquelin.

Arsenal have a strong interest in emerging French players Kylian Mbappe and Benjamin Mendy of Monaco and Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette.
Wenger recently admitted he believes the next wave of star players will come from France.
“I’m convinced, maybe because I'm French, but at the moment the best players in the world are in France,” he said.
