Payet has let it be known that he doesn't want to play for West Ham again and has been training on his own this week.

Marseille have seen two bids knocked back from The Hammers but both have been far below their £30million valuation of Payet.

And according to the Mirror, West Ham are unhappy with the way Marseille have gone about their business in trying to lure the France international away from east London and are considering a complaint to FIFA.

The report claims that Marseille have already made contact with Payet's representatives behind West Ham's back to make him aware of their interest.

Payet's camp have repeatedly claimed Payet's intentions to move back to Marseille are for family reasons.

The 29-year-old only joined West Ham from Marseille 18 months ago for £10.7million and his impressive performances quickly earned him a new £125,000-a-week deal to fend off any suitors.

Mark Noble hasn't spoken to Dimitri Payet for two or three weeks

West Ham succeeded in holding onto their star man during the summer transfer window but Slaven Bilic spoke out last week that Payet no longer wanted to play for the club.

Hammers captain Mark Noble said he was "angry and disappointed" with Payet over his attitude in training and believes the club should cash in if he doesn't want to play.

“I had – and I say had because I haven't really spoken to him for the last two or three weeks – a great relationship with him, but I don't know his reasons.

“I am not going to comment on why he wanted to leave but I do know that if someone doesn't want to play for the team then they are better off not even playing.”
