Kidman said Keith didn’t get in touch for months after they first met
“Well, we met and that night – the craziest thing is to have a photo of when you first met.
"Someone just took that photo and sent it to us but I remember thinking I had such a crush on him and he wasn’t interested in me,” the 49-year-old told US chatshow host Ellen DeGeneres of her first encounter with country and western star Keith.
The pair met at an Australian-themed event in America in 2005 before marrying a year later.

Nicole will be in the UK this weekend for the Baftas
Ellen attempted to ask the actress why she hadn’t probed him more about it.
I remember thinking I had such a crush on him and he wasn’t interested in me
“How is that possible? And did he explain why he didn’t? He must have just been shy, he must have been overwhelmed with emotion,” before prompting Nicole to admit that to this day she has still never pressed him for an answer on why he waited so long.
“There are certain things – and I think anyone in a marriage would agree with this – you just don’t, just leave that.
"We’re here now and it’s all good.
"We don’t need to hash up all that stuff right? So I should just shut my mouth.”
Nicole will be in the UK this weekend for the Baftas at London’s Royal Albert Hall which will be shown on BBC One at 9pm tomorrow.

The former supermodel isn’t sure she would have survived in today’s image obsessed culture
In her 1990s heyday Cindy Crawford graced the cover of hundreds of magazines and strutted down the catwalk for every top fashion designer.
Yet the former supermodel – who turns 51 later this month – isn’t sure she would have survived in today’s image obsessed culture.
“There is certainly a lot more pressure on the girls to be thinner now. I had curves, I had a body and no one made me feel any different. I really don’t know how it would be now.”
With her trademark mole, toned physique and healthy glow, Cindy’s Glamazon look is far from undernourished and stickthin.
And her attitude to food is healthy too – the mother-of-two tells Vogue Australia that while she loves her grub the key to maintaining her enviable shape is moderation: “There is nothing that I won’t eat but there are things I won’t eat a lot of. I love carbs.
"They love me a little too much.”
Michelle Obama is expected to be a judge on the US version of MasterChef Junior
She has been out of the White House for only three weeks but it seems Michelle Obama is already planning her new career.
According to the Los Angeles Times, the former First Lady is to be a judge on the US version of MasterChef Junior, which sees two dozen eight to 13-yearolds battle it out for the £800,000 prize.
The 53-year-old’s TV appearance is not as surprising as it seems.
During her eight years alongside husband Barack, one of her finest achievements was the Healthy HungerFree Kids Act – similar to Jamie Oliver’s campaign to get healthier school lunches.
Cliff Richard says he was his old pal Cilla Black’s personal cabbie
Sir Cliff Richard has revealed that he was his old pal Cilla Black’s personal cabbie – the surprising arrangement occurring after they struck up a close friendship as frequent Barbados holidaymakers.
“We were invited to all the same parties. I phoned once and said, ‘Are you going?’
"She said, ‘Yeah’ and I said, ‘Shall I pick you up at seven?’” he says.
But the late Blind Date host hadn’t bargained on the 76-year-old squeaky clean singer turning up in a rather unexpected vehicle.
“The only car I had here at the time was a truck. She said, ‘Oh chuck, how am I going to get in?’”
Without a lorra lorra diffi culty we hope.
