Johnny Depp sued TMH for defraud but the firm has hit back with a countersuit
The Hollywood star recently sued TMG, which was responsible for handling his finances from 1999 until 2016, for defrauding him out of tens of millions of dollars.
However, the firm has now hit back with a blistering countersuit.
It claims that the 53-year-old’s eye-watering spending habits – which include dishing out £2.3million to blast author Hunter S Thompson’s ashes out of a specially made cannon, £14million on a yacht and £3million on a failed record label, £25,000 a month on wine and £230,000 a month to maintain a staff of 40 – have caused his money problems.
TMG insists that the Pirates Of The Caribbean star was kept fully informed of his overspending but would lash out at the warnings.

Johnny Depp is arguably one of the greatest actors around today. From the numerous Tim Burton films to Disney pirates, to singing and slaying, Depp has basically done it all. So, who and what has he been?

“Depp, and Depp alone, is fully responsible for any financial turmoil he finds himself in today. He has refused to live within his means…”
The company also states that Johnny owes it more than £3million, so has filed a foreclosure proceeding on his home in an effort to recoup that debt.
The Alice Through The Looking Glass actor has only just got through an acrimonious split from actress Amber Heard, 30, who last May filed for divorce and a restraining order against him alleging domestic abuse.
Beyoncé revealed last night that she is pregnant with twins.
The 35-year-old, who is married to rapper Jay Z, made the announcement on her Instagram page.
Alongside a picture posing in her underwear showing her growing baby bump, she wrote: “We would like to share our love and happiness.
“We have been blessed two times over. We are incredibly grateful that our family will be growing by two, and we thank you for your well wishes.”
She signed her message from “The Carters”. Beyoncé and Jay Z are already parents to five-year-old Blue Ivy.
In 2013, the singer revealed she had suffered a miscarriage before the birth of her first daughter, an event she recalled as “the saddest thing I’ve ever been through”.

Damian Lewis has hit out at claims that acting is an elitist profession.
The 45-year-old Eton-educated actor – who played Henry VIII in last year’s BBC hit drama Wolf Hall and previously starred in acclaimed US TV series Homeland – complained about “the flaring-up recently of this idea that it was unfair that people from private schools were getting acting jobs – a nonsense!”
With fellow Etonians, including The Theory Of Everything actor Eddie Redmayne, 35, The Night Manager star Tom Hiddleston, also 35, and The Affair star Dominic West, 47, bagging coveted roles and reports that about three-quarters of Bafta and Oscar-winning British actors are either privately or grammar school educated, Damian’s dismissing of the backlash seems flippant.
Veteran actress Julie Walters, 66, has previously gone on record to say it was shocking that working-class actors could not afford to go to drama school, with fees costing about £9,000 a year and few bursaries available for those from a low-income background.
Damian, who is the son of a City broker, currently stars in the leading role in hit US drama Billions as an ambitious hedge-fund manager who came from humble beginnings.
Kate Bosworth at the premiere screening of her new BBC One series SS-GB in London
All eyes were on Kate Bosworth at the premiere screening of her new BBC One series SS-GB in London this week. The 34-year-old US actress, who has swapped the big screen for the dystopian TV drama, looked carefree in a Bardot-style frock at The May Fair hotel.
However, the series is a serious affair. Set in Nazioccupied London, it’s based on the premise that the Germans won the Battle of Britain.
British actor Sam Ridley, 37, plays the lead – detective Douglas Archer – who is investigating what appears to be a simple black-market murder.
Kate stars as American journalist Barbara Barga, who becomes inextricably linked with the case.
Speaking of the images of London landmarks – including the Houses of Parliament and Trafalgar Square – being draped with swastikas, Kate tells Day & Night: “However long we spent on set we never became relaxed or comfortable with it. It was very difficult to see it.” The five-part drama airs later this month.
Drew Barrymore has said she wants to direct more in the future
Former ET actress Drew Barrymore fancies a future out of the spotlight.
The 41-year-old is the star of new US TV comedy Santa Clarita Diet but is eager for the lights, camera and action behind the lens.
“I would love to direct more in the future,” says mum-of-two Drew. “I directed the film Whip It and loved it but as soon as I had kids I realised that I can’t be a director for a while because directors work 24/7.
“They are up all night, they are there first thing in the morning, they work weekends and they make it seem like everything is handled for everyone else.
“I have to do that for and with my children right now but when my kids don’t want to hang out with me I will go back to directing.”
