What if we could develop robots that were a more natural extension of us and that could actually do whatever we are thinking? A team from MIT’s Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory (CSAIL) and Boston University is working on this problem, creating a feedback system that lets people correct robot mistakes instantly with nothing more than their brains

He said: "Over time I think we will probably see a closer merger of biological intelligence and digital intelligence.”
Mr Musk has a keen interest in artificial intelligence, which can be seen as a threat to the survival of the human species.
But the billionaire tycoon believes merging humans with machines is the only way to ensure humans become irrelevant.
He added: "Some high bandwidth interface to the brain will be something that helps achieve a symbiosis between human and machine intelligence and maybe solves the control problem and the usefulness problem."
Neuralink’s first products could include brain implants to treat disorders including depression and epilepsy.
