Members of the public called the emergency services after discovering the pair inside their vehicle at a petrol station in Florida, United States.
When officers arrived the recorded the man and woman slumped over in the front of the vehicle, with a one-year-old and five-month-old child in the back seats.
An extensive search was carried out of the vehicle which had pulled into a Texaco petrol station in Sarasota.

Large quantities of illegal drugs, including crystal meth, heroin and Fentanyl, were found inside the car, according to Fox32.
The couple, identified as William Ballard, 36, and 32-year-old Delaney Crissinger, were immediately arrested – with their children taken into protective custody.
After the pair had been detained, Lt Joe Giasone said: “It’s a sad situation all around."

He continued: “You’ve got people that are committing crimes and using drugs, then you have them bringing their kids along with them creating other victims.
“Anyone that would leave kids in the back of the car when they have the amount of drugs that were in this car – it’s sad for the kids.”
Eric Roundtree, who works at a nearby restaurant said several customers had boxed in the car to make sure the adults didn’t try to drive away.
The pair were arrested with the children taken into care
“We don't really see what addiction is about until we see something like that and that what saddens me most about it,” he said.
“You're an adult, you can do what you want to do but don't bring your kids involved. And those two little innocent kids didn't have nothing to do with this but now they're shaken up."
It’s understood the two young children were taken into state custody and have since been left in the care of other family members.
