The popular presenter jetted off to New Zealand during today’s instalment of the landscape programme, where he spoke to sheep farmer Bill Ornley.
Bill gave Adam a stunning guided tour this farm located on the South Island, which was recently stung by a devastating earthquake.
Locals were not only shaken by the disaster but lost vast livestock amid the destruction.
However, fans of Countryfile were far more concerned by Adam’s new Kiwi accent.

Countryfile controversies
Adam’s kiwi accent was very distracting
Countryfile viewer
“I first visited New Zealand 30 years ago with my business partner Duncan, but a lot has changed since then,” he told viewers, presumably referring to his new adopted voice.
“It was hard to listen to what Adam and the farmer had to say…. Adam’s kiwi accent was very distracting,” teased one viewer, as another agreed: “Tough for Adam in lovely kiwiland. He hasn't quite got the accent tho – replace every vowel with an ‘i’.”
Someone else asked: “Why is @BBCCountryfile Adam's accent changing as he's talking to the New Zealand farmer? It's hard to tell who's more Kiwi,” before one more followed: “Why is Adam doing an Australian accent on #countryfile?”

This audience member admitted: “Adam picking up a little bit of a local #NewZealand accent. Let's be honest we've all done it #Countryfile #BritsAbroad.”
Even Countryfile’s own social media team addressed the gaffe when a viewer joked: “@BBCCountryfile Loving Tom's accent slippage in NZ… :D”
Countryfile continues next Sunday at 6.30pm on BBC One.
