The fiery soap beauty (played by Helen Flanagan) was back from Miami with her older sister Sophie (Brooke Vincent) in tonight's episode.
Within a short space of time, she was making sure that Weatherfield was bang up to date with the latest trends from Florida, which included swigging coconut water and waxing lyrical about "man-scaping".
She was even heard telling her mother Sally Metcalfe (Sally Dynevor) about getting chatted up by a rapper, who offered to give her a ride on his "PJ" or private jet.
However, fans of the ITV soap were less that impressed with Rosie's return to Coronation Street and promptly took to social media to slam the character.
One person posted on Twitter: "Please remove Rosie from my telly box… #coronationstreet."
While another tweeted: "Christ, Rosie is even more plastic than before. #Corrie #CoronationStreet."

A third added: "I forgot how much I hate rosie, she's so annoying #coronationstreet."
However, it was not all negative as some championed soap star Helen, 26, for reprising the role.
"Haha wee Rosie is back love it! #Coronationstreet," said one delighted viewer, while a second complimented her: "Rosie is so beautiful though! #Corrie #coronationstreet."
Despite Rosie annoying some viewers, her younger sibling put her in her place as Sophie told her: "Only a moron would chase you or a debt collector."

Michelle Connor suffered a heartbreaking miscarriage
Helen recently spoke about returning to Coronation Street, admitting that she had felt guilt on her first day back on set.
In a candid interview with OK! Magazine, she explained: "My mum is doing most of the childcare, but I did get a bit of ‘mum guilt’ when I first had to leave her to go back to Corrie. I’ve never felt anything like that before."
She went on to say: "Then I thought, I’m not doing anything wrong – just because I’m going to work doesn’t mean that I’m a bad mum. I cried the first day I dropped her off at nursery."
Coronation Street continues on ITV tonight at 8.30pm.
