In new pictures from the set of the ITV soap, Steve McDonald (played by Simon Gregson) and Leanne Battersby (Jane Danson) are seen at the registry office as they put their names down on the birth certificate of their son.
The photos show Steve rushing in his taxi at the last moment to the registry office, so he can officially sign as the father of the baby.
However, putting his name on the birth certificate could be a fatal move for his marriage to Michelle (Kym Marsh) if she ever sees the document.
Leanne is due to be giving birth soon and these latest filming pictures look like they will be broadcast in episodes in a few months time.
So far everyone in Weatherfield seems to know about Steve and Leanne’s secret love child except for Michelle, who tragically lost her own son after he was born prematurely.
According to recent reports, Michelle will divorce Steve after she discovers that he had a one-night-stand and lied to her about the child.

How forgiving do you think she would be? Not very. You’ll just have to wait and see
Soap star Kym, 40, recently speculated about how the Rovers Return land lady would feel if the revelations came out.
Speaking on the red carpet at the National Television Awards 2017 earlier this week, she said: “I love Simon Gregson, not in that way, but I love Simon Gregson.
“I would be devastated if we were to break up never to be put back together but we all know how soaps are and you’ve got to ride that journey out, haven’t you?”
