Fans of the ITV soap assumed the nightmare for the schoolgirl (played by Lucy Fallon) was finally finished after she escaped groomer Nathan Curtis (Christopher Harper) who was arrested and she agreed to take him to court.
But after being told that there won’t be any justice in her sexual exploitation case in this week’s episodes, Bethany’s mother Sarah (Tina O’Brien) tells her Neil has kindly agreed to have a chat with her.
However, Bethany doesn’t want to be faced with the police officer and does her best to mask her fear as he confronts her.

Neil, who is a friend of Nathan’s, had previously raped the youngster and is now using his position in power to protect himself.
He even threatened Bethany to keep him out of it and to not acknowledge his part in the sex ring plot or he would seek revenge on her family.
Will Bethany eventually stand up to Neil and tell the truth? Or will she choose to protect her family?
Actor Christopher who plays evil Nathan, recently revealed the grooming plot is about to take an even darker twist with Bethany at the focus of the “next turn of the story”.
