An emotional Ben Price, who is exiting the ITV soap to spend more time with his family, was seen hugging his fellow stars as they shot dramatic scenes on the beach.
Although it is not known how Nick will leave, the 45-year-old actor looked touched as he chatted with Chris Gascoyne and Simon Gregson on the sand.
Chris, 49 – who plays Peter Barlow – was pictured with his arms around his co-star as they stood wrapped up in blue coats, and even held his face in his hands.
Ben was seen walking off with a large piece of card in his hand as the trio joked around in between filming.

The decision to leave is purely personal
He was later spotted embracing several members of the crew in the newly-released paparazzi shots.
Does this suggest the star will meet a grisly end thanks to quicksand as suggested in last night’s episode?
In a teaser ahead of tonight’s tense instalment, Nick was seen submerged from the neck down with the tide quickly rising.

“The decision to leave is purely personal – I want to be able to spend more time with my family. I have been supported by a terrific cast and crew and have had the most glorious storylines and for that I am most grateful.”
Coronation Street continues tonight at 9pm on ITV.
