Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather traded outrageous verbal blows at press conferences in Los Angeles, Toronto, New York and London as the hype surrounding their match continues to build towards fever pitch.
McGregor was accused of using racially insensitive language at two conferences, after telling Mayweather to “dance for me boy”, a phrase with racially charged connotations in the US.
He defended himself by claiming he couldn’t be racist because he is “half-black from the belly button down” – words which drew yet more outrage.

Mayweather meanwhile use a homophobic slur during the fourth and final event, calling McGregor a “f****t”.
Despite the controversy, McGregor claimed to have got the better of his opponent.
"The tour became a verbal battle that people were scoring and I didn't anticipate it being so back and forth," he said.

The showdown, which takes place on August 26 at the T-Mobile Centre in Las Vegas, has already been tipped to be the most expensive fight in history.
Experts are predicting that it could even eclipse Mayweather’s record-breaking £460million ($600million) bout with Manny Pacquiao in 2015.

The McGregor-Mayweather fight is expected to shift almost five million pay-per-view buys which would mean a windfall of about £363.5million ($475million) from TV viewings alone.
It will cost approximately $100 to watch the fight on PPV in the US.
Additional sponsorship deals, ticket sales and Nevada betting fees could propel the fight into the history books.
Mayweather is expected to net at least £78.5million ($100million) from the fight, with McGregor reported to have agreed a smaller fee.
The Irishman will pocket £12million ($15million) less than Mayweather, according to UFC President Dana White.
Speaking in April, White said: “If the fight sells as well as I think it can, Floyd makes a little north of $100 million and Conor makes $75 million.
“He (Mayweather) feels like he’s the A-side and he should get more of it.”

All purses are estimates as the pair have signed confidentiality agreements that restrict them from revealing financial details about the fight and the totals are likely to increase further once bonuses are taken into account.
After he defeated Pacquiao, Mayweather walked away with about £180million ($240million), according to Forbes.
The American, who will go 50-0 if he beats McGregor, could push his career earnings to over $1billion (£765million) if he secures a similar payday.
The undefeated boxer would become only the third athlete in history to earn ten-figures in their sporting career after Michael Jordan ($1.5billion) and Tiger Woods ($1.4billion).
