Conor McGregor would be mad not to involved the UFC, claims Dana White
The double UFC champion pulled out of an event in Dublin this week to fly to the US where he will film an anti-bullying video for schoolchildren.
The advert is said to be in order to appease the Nevada State Athletic Commission, who would regulate any McGregor v Mayweather fight in Las Vegas, after McGregor threw a water bottle at Nate Diaz during a press conference last year.

When McGregor travels for fights, he always needs to carry a passport for his shoes as certain states restrict certain materials. His favourite pair are made from crocodile skin
If a deal has been done between the two parties, it would appear to be without the consent of UFC chief White – McGregor founded his own promotional company in the belief he could make the fight happen alone.
But White clearly disagrees.
“Conor is under contract with me,” White told the Telegraph earlier this month.
“How would I let somebody take this guy that I built and do it without me?

“That would be the stupidest move in history.”
McGregor has previously stated a desire to be given a share of the UFC company because of his importance to the brand.

The Irishman appears to believe the UFC is restricting his earning potential, but White claims it’s quite the opposite.
"There's not a lot I wouldn't let Conor do,” White added.
“Conor is a very special individual.

“He has created a lot of opportunities for himself.
“The one thing I don't ever do is hold people back from opportunities.”
As an example, White claims he didn’t make a single cent when Chael Sonnen fought Tito Ortiz under the auspices of rival MMA promotion Bellator last month.
"Chael Sonnen is under contract with me,” White said.
“You know how much I asked for for that fight [against Tito Ortiz at a Belabor MMA event in January]?
"I would never hold Chael back from making money for himself and his family."
