Conor McGregor could take on Floyd Mayweather in one of the most lucrative fights of all time
Conor McGregor became a double UFC champion in November when he beat Eddie Alvarez for the lightweight title.
He is currently taking a break from competing ahead of the birth of his first child this summer.
But the Irishman was granted a boxing licence in California as rumours of a super-fight with Floyd Mayweather mounted.

The American boxer and promoter has not fought since September 2015 and is unbeaten in 49 fights.
And he has revealed that he has no intention of getting back into the ring – unless McGregor is his opponent.
"Most likely the fight between me and Conor McGregor will happen," Mayweather said.

"That's the only fight that will get me back in the ring.
“He's going to do a job on his side and we are going to do a job on my side and hopefully all the fans in the UK come over and support me.
"I don't know [when it will be], I need to communicate with my team, the fight hasn't been made yet, but it is all about entertainment so hopefully we can make it happen."
The main contention between the two camps so far has been over the earnings of the two fighters from the bout.

McGregor initially set his stall out at $100million (£80million) although Mayweather laughed off the idea given that his biggest previous payday is substantially less than that.
UFC chief Dana White, who holds McGregor’s contract in MMA, publicly offered each man £20m guaranteed to make the fight happen with a share of the pay-per-view sales.
But now McGregor has admitted that in the end the two fighters themselves must sit down and talk business.
“Me and Floyd have got to get together and talk the same way him and Manny [Pacquiao] figured it out,” McGregor said.
“Once we come to a number, once we come to a set number that I’m happy with, that he’s happy with, then we go to the customers.
“Then we go to the promoters, to the buyers, and then we get it done.
“That’s next. We’ll figure the situation out then go to the dotted line, but this is happening.”
