Colin Montgomerie is suing his estranged wife for £5m
The former Ryder Cup team captain split from Gaynor, 50, in 2015.
At the Court of Session in Edinburgh yesterday, judge Lord Doherty was told of the alleged unfairness of a 2010 deal.
The arrangement – signed after the 53-year-old sportsman was caught cheating with another woman – allegedly committed him to pay for the upkeep of Gaynor’s £2million Perthshire farmhouse.

Montgomerie, of Ayrshire, believed the deal was not fair and reasonable. He is suing Gaynor for £5million and is also demanding payments from her of £6,500 per month.
He claims Gaynor placed him under pressure to enter into the “post-nuptial” agreement so their marriage could continue.
