The host revealed that her spouse paid tribute to his late mother when he spoke at their nuptials in December 2015.
The 37-year-old told her co-stars Nadia Sawalha, Jennifer Ellison and Kaye Adams she had to keep her emotions in check as they discussed experiences of grief.
When asked whether she was with Frank, 38, when he lost his mum, Christine replied: "No, that was before me and, oddly enough, grief then hits you in a different way.
"When you meet someone after this terrible, terrible loss… on our wedding day, part of his speech was – and I'll not cry saying this – that I never got to meet her. That was his biggest regret."

Frank lost his mum Pat to pneumonia in April 2008, before meeting the brunette beauty the following year.

"He got very upset when he was retelling these stories. He knew we'd have afternoon tea together, I'd spend Saturdays shopping with her."
