Speculation surrounding Eriksen’s potential departure was rife last year with Juventus apparently interested in signing him.
But he put rumours of a transfer to bed by signing a new four-year deal to keep him at Spurs until the summer of 2020.
However, he has spoken out about his admiration for Barcelona and revealed he may consider a move if they showed genuine interest in signing him.

"I've been there [on trial as a teenager] at one point, and it didn't work out too well," Eriksen told Danish media outlet Ekstra Bladet.
"But Barcelona is a fantastic club – I don't think there a lot of players who would say no to Barcelona.
"But there is 'interest' and then there is concrete interest. Until there is some concrete interest, I don't have an opinion about it.

"In the future I see myself at the highest level. That's what I dream about. That could be in two to three years.
"It could be at a different club or it could be at Tottenham, if we have got all the way to that level."
The Denmark international signed for Spurs in a £11million move from Ajax in 2013.
