The 40-year-old’s remarks are in stark contrast to Liam, who labelled his sibling a “sad f***” for not ditching his holiday to take part in Ariana Grande’s benefit event in the wake of the Manchester bombing.
Chris tweeted his 20.8 million fans today: “Thank you @noelgallagher for giving your blessing and encouragement to play Don't Look Back In Anger and Live Forever on Sunday.”
The singer went on to address his lack of attendance, which seemingly left his former bandmate fuming.
