Chelsea reportedly want to sign Roma defender Kostas Manolas
Chelsea have been linked with Manolas since last summer and were thought to be planning an offer for him this month.
According to Italian newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, Roma were initially uninterested in selling Manolas.

But pressure is mounting on manager Luciano Spalletti to sell one of his star men so Roma can balance the books.
According to the report, Roma are worried about Financial Fair Play sanctions [football-italia] if they do not cash in on a player before deadline day.
And Manolas appears to be the obvious choice to sell.
The Greece international is said to have been furious about being left on the bench in Roma’s 3-2 defeat at Sampdoria yesterday.
Manolas has made 21 appearances for Roma this season – but has started just six of their last 15 outings.
Earlier this month Manolas’ agent confirmed Manchester United were also eyeing the centre-back.
”A departure this winter? We are aware of the interest of Manchester United and Chelsea, but for the moment I can not say anything,” he said.
"But this summer, there may be something."
As for Chelsea, they could have a gap open up in their defence as Branislav Ivanovic edges closer to a move away from the club, with Everton and Zenit St Petersburg interested in the Serbia international.
