Boylesports have paid out on Chelsea winning the title

Chelsea ran riot against Arsenal with goals from Marcos Alonso, Eden Hazard and Cesc Fabregas sending them on their way.

Olivier Giroud’s consolation for the Gunners was not enough to prevent them slipping 12 points behind the league leaders.

Which star man will be crowned the player of the month for January?

And even though Tottenham could cup the gap to nine points if they beat Middlesbrough in the 5.30pm kick off, bookmakers Boylesports have closed their book on the title race.

Liam Glynn, BoyleSports spokesperson said “Realistically no team can catch Chelsea with the way they are playing and having demolished Arsenal 3-1 in Saturday’s early kick off we have decided to reward our loyal customers and pay out on The Blues winning the league with still over three months to go.

“This payout is costing us a large six figure sum but we are rewarding our loyal customers and fans of the unstoppable Chelsea.”
