The Italian boss has wasted no time in settling into life in the Premier League during his first season in charge of Chelsea.

Antonio Conte's side sit nine points clear at the top of the table after recording a 3-1 win over Arsenal on Saturday.

His passion for the game has been clear for all to see on the touchline during matches and it seems that doesn't change away from the pitch.

Zouma, who made his first league appearance under Conte against the Gunners, told The Mirror: “He’s a really nice guy. He thinks, eats and sleeps football.

Kurt Zouma

"He talks football, everything is football with him. He’s so passionate and he wants to give that to the players."

Conte's 3-4-3 formation has worked wonders for the Blues this season and was one of the reasons behind their 13-game win streak last year.

The 47-year-old is meticulous with his planning and goes into the finer details to make sure his efforts on the training ground pay dividends on match days.

"He says ‘You can’t be there, you need to be there because if the ball goes over you there you’re dead, so just anticipate.’

Chelsea's next test comes on Sunday when they face Burnley at Turf Moor (1.30pm).
