That is according to former Chelsea goalkeeper Mark Schwarzer.
Spurs' 2-0 win last month ended Chelsea's 13-game winning run in the Premier League.
But beyond that result, the Blues have flourished under Antonio Conte, especially since changing formation.
Centre-midfielder Kante has been the engine for Chelsea this season, having impressed following his £30million move from champions Leicester.
Mark Schwarzer was only left unimpressed with N'Golo Kante this season in Chelsea's defeat at Spurs
The Foxes have missed the France international's influence, while fans at Stamford Bridge have really taken to their summer signing.
Minus the one top-flight match Kante missed through suspension, he has only not played the full 90 minutes once.
That came in the loss to Spurs where the 25-year-old was hooked on 78 minutes, but Schwarzer, a team-mate of Kante's last season at Leicester, says he has excelled on the whole with Chelsea.
"He's been massive for them," Schwarzer told BBC's Premier League Show.

Whenever he plays well, which is 99 per cent of the time, Chelsea either win or do well
"The one game I've seen him play badly this season was away at Spurs, and it's no coincidence Chelsea lost that game.
"Whenever he plays well, which is 99 per cent of the time, Chelsea either win or do well.
"He's a brilliant player. He will gain the most recognition now that he's at a bigger club at Chelsea in the spotlight."
Kante is expected to start once again alongside Nemanja Matic in the Blues' imposing midfield when they travel to Burnley on Sunday (1.30pm).
