
Chelsea star Costa has returned to the first team after a week-long exile following his spat with manager Antonio Conte.
Express Sport understands he had an offer to move to China in a £30million-a-year deal.
It would have netted Chelsea around £80m but Conte has now brought Costa, who the club said had a back injury last week, into the fold.

On China, he added: “It’s a new market that is coming up. They are targeting new players and it is up to the players to take their chances.
“Everyone has different situations. It’s a new opportunity for the players, a new country.”
