The Bosnian goalkeeper has played second fiddle to Thibaut Courtois this term.
Although he made just his fifth appearance of the season in the 4-0 win over Brentford in the fourth round of the FA Cup yesterday, Begovic is frustrated by his lack of chances.
Express Sport understands Begovic could join Bournemouth within the next 24 hours, and the shot-stopper has confirmed he’s spoken to Antonio Conte with regards to completing a switch before Tuesday’s deadline.
“I have spoken with the boss – we are quite open about it, he knows I am desperate to play, and that’s all it is really,” Begovic said.

“If he can make it happen for me he will. That is something that is going to be sorted out in the next couple of days.
“I’m 29 – 30 in the summer – and feel fantastic and in great shape.
“It would be a waste not to play and show people what I can do.”
Branislav Ivanovic has been linked to Zenit St Petersburg
Speaking after the win over the Bees, Conte suggested Begovic is in the same boat as his team-mate Branislav Ivanovic, who has been linked to Zenit St Petersburg, insofar as leaving the Blues goes.
He said: “It is the same for Asmir. He is important for us.
“In his position we need to find the right substitution, otherwise he is happy to stay with us."
