And despite Arsenal being on the front foot throughout the match, Chelsea were looking strong in the second-half.
But they were faced with an uphill task when Moses was sent off after receiving a second yellow card for simulation.
The Nigerian clearly dived inside the box after anticipating contact from Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and referee and Anthony Taylor got the decision spot on.

Moses has enjoyed a stellar campaign under Antonio Conte this season but his foolish decision at Wembley hindered Chelsea’s chances of securing the FA Cup.
But Terry, who didn’t play in the final, insists the winger isn’t to blame for their defeat.
"He is [upset] but it is important that the group pick him up, for him as well," Terry said at Wembley.
"The manager has shown a big faith in him this year and again he has been excellent all season. Naturally he is down and the poor guy has got his wedding tomorrow.

Despite Diego Costa scoring for 10-man Chelsea on 76 minutes, Aaron Ramsey responded with the winner just three minutes later to to secure Arsenal a record 13th FA Cup.
