Solhekol claims Chelsea have "strong" and "serious" interest in Aguero to solve their striker crisis.
Blues boss Antonio Conte has told Diego Costa he is not in his plans for the upcoming season and is expected to leave the club.
They wanted Romelu Lukaku but the Belgian instead joined Manchester United from Everton for a fee of £75million.
Aguero is one of four strikers Chelsea are looking at, with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Alvaro Morata and Andrea Belotti three other options.
Aguero has been linked with an exit from the Etihad following the arrival of Brazilian Gabriel Jesus in January.

Kaveh Solhekol says Man City do not want to sell Sergio Aguero to Chelsea
"They're looking at Alvaro Morata, Aubameyang, Belotti at Torino and also Sergio Aguero.
"However, just to get Chelsea fans to calm down a bit, I think it will be very, very difficult for Chelsea to get Aguero out of Manchester City.
"I don't think since the new owners came in at City back in 2008 they've ever sold a player they don't want to sell.
"My information is they do not want to sell Sergio Aguero."
