Bertrand Traore has admitted he wants to stay with Chelsea
Bertrand Traore joined the Chelsea academy from French club Auxerre in 2013 but his progression into the first team has been slow.
The 21-year-old made the step up to the senior squad in 2014 but he has been restricted to just 10 Premier League appearances in three years.
This season he has been on loan with Dutch side Ajax, earning valuable experience with the Europa League finalists.
And he has admitted he will soon hold sit-down talks with the Blues to discuss his future with the Stamford Bridge club.
Bertrand Traore embraced Jose Mourinho after the Europa League final
“I will go with the national team [Burkina Faso] and after that take some rest,” Traore said following Ajax’s 2-0 defeat to Manchester United in the Europa League.
“Then I will go back to Chelsea and have a talk – we will see.
“That’s my hope (to be at Chelsea next season).
“That was the key when I came to Ajax – play as many [games] as I could, do well, and try to go back to Chelsea.
