The Blues face the Championship outfit in the fifth round on Saturday (5.30pm).
But concerns over Luiz’s availability were raised when he posted a picture on Instagram following Sunday’s 1-1 draw at Burnley.
The centre-half has struggled with a knee injury since Sergio Aguero’s reckless tackle in early December.
And he appeared to be undergoing serious treatment on Sunday night after tagging his selfie with the phrase ‘Let’s do it’, along with a needle.

An appearance against Wolves is off the cards
The Brazil international later deleted the picture, and The Telegraph now claim Chelsea have played down fears over his situation.
Luiz was apparently just treated by the Blues’ medical team with the club continuing to manage his knee issue.
But while he won’t be sidelined long-term, an appearance against Wolves is off the cards, having been seen limping off the pitch at Burnley.
Luiz has played every minute of Chelsea’s Premier League campaign since mid-September, and the plan is to prepare him for the visit of Swansea on February 25.

Meanwhile, Antonio Conte could be left short of options defensively at Molineux due to a training ground blow to captain John Terry.
The 36-year-old may fill in for Luiz against Wolves but an ankle injury has left him a doubt.
The Telegraph add that Marcos Alonso was the culprit for Terry’s Cobham incident, but should he also be rested, Kurt Zouma and Nathan Ake are ready to step in for Chelsea.
