Efe Ambrose's loan move to Blackburn may not stand
Celtic defender Efe Ambrose completed a last-minute loan move to Blackburn yesterday on deadline day.
However, the Nigeria international's transfer may reportedly not stand pending an investigation by the Football League.
Football website AllNigeriaSoccer claims the EFL are investigating whether or not all the paperwork for the deal was filed by the 11pm deadline.
Efe Ambrose's move to Blackburn was reportedly not ratified by the English Football League
The report says the deal was not ratified by the English authorities before the transfer window closed.
If the deal falls through it will be a huge disappointment for Ambrose who has been out of favour at Celtic Park this season.
The 28-year-old made the move to Blackburn in search of regular first-team football and called the deal an "opportunity to start afresh".
