Eamonn has some more time on his hands since stepping down from his job fronting Sky News' Sunrise show last year, and appearing on BOTS last night, the Irish guest star said he would be willing to step in and cover Rylan's presenting duties should he fall ill.
The 57-year-old made the revelation after Celebrity Big Brother host Emma Willis, 41, pointed out that Rylan, 28, had called in sick to his This Morning job but was well enough to present BOTS later that same day.
"If he was sick this morning, he should be sick tonight," said Eamonn.
Knowing what a huge Big Brother fan Eamonn is, Rylan suggested the TV legend could fill in as a temporary replacement.

Rylan added: "Yes, next time you're coming in for me."
However, Eamonn then remarked in jest that the move would end up being a permanent one.
The veteran broadcaster teased: "That would be the end of you, it's not a good idea."
Eamonn responded that he would me more than happy to take over Rylan's job on a permanent basis

The admission comes just days after it was confirmed that The X Factor spin-off show The Xtra factor, which Rylan also presents, has been axed by ITV.
