Carol Vorderman and Phillip Schofield were on the top of the list for Brits' TV crushes
Despite both veteran TV stars being in their 50s – the This Morning presenter aged 54 and former Countdown star aged 56 – Brits voted them the sexiest on telly.
A poll of 2,000 Brits, 1,000 men and 1,000 women, by online bingo site GalaBingo.com found that 36 per cent of those polled kept their 'celeb crush' secret from their partner.
The survey also found that 18 per cent of Brits had both a male and female celebrity crush – with 44 per cent saying they fancied their crush more than their partner.
When it comes to fictional TV stars, Mick Carter, played by Danny Dyer in EastEnders came out top.

"It's their quirks and charisma that draws us in, and isn't that what true love is about?"
India Benjamin, a psychological researcher, said: "We build relationships with celebrities the same way as we do with real life people, through continued contact.
Mick Carter, played by Danny Dyer, came out as the top fictional TV star
"Having a connection with a celebrity makes us feel good; the more contact you have with a person, the closer you feel to them. Our brains don't recognise that these are one way interactions, they label them the same way they do with people we meet face to face.
"It's therefore not that surprising we get crushes on soap stars; if you spend an hour with someone, albeit on TV, every day, you'll quickly feel like you know them. Even if it is a fictional character!"
