Call of Duty Black Ops 3 has new content, while Modern Warfare Remastered is running a new event
Activision announced a new limited-time item that can be grabbed on Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 PS4, PC and Xbox One.
A new weapon camo can now be obtained through supply drops, featuring “an animated camo that oozes blood over any weapon that you choose, and looks delightfully deadly.
The Bloody Valentine camo will only be available to earn from 10am PST on February 8 through 12:01am PST on February 16.
However, once obtained, players then get to keep it forever as part of their loadout.
“Treyarch’s love for Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 and its fervent fans continues to ooze into the game at every opportunity,” Activision teased.
“Starting today Valentine’s Day comes early because starting today there is a very special, limited-time item that will allow you to show off that love in a pretty unique way.”
Other items were also added this week, this includes two ranged weapons that are a blast from Call of Duty’s past, and new themes for your Specialists.
NEW WEAPONS:
PPSH: "The PPSH is like holding a little piece of history – you know, a piece of history that features a high rate of fire and happens to be perfect for close encounters."
M16: "This highly-anticipated fan-favorite is back. The classic American three-round burst assault rifle that introduced burst fire to the Black Ops series, returns for a familiar feel that is sure to please fans of this satisfying yet challenging style of gun combat."
SPECIALIST THEMES: Treyarch is also adding a slew of new Specialist themes to the mix, with one new Theme for each and every Specialist.
Call of Duty Modern Warfare Remastered also have something to logon this weekend for.
Double XP is available from February 10 to February 13, giving fans the chance to try and earn some of the new 170 items recently added to the game.
