Trains have been cancelled between Surbiton and Woking and Wimbledon and Surbiton after two seperate emergency incidents.
A man was struck by a train in New Malden rail station at 12.30pm, while another man was hit by a train in Woking.
A British Transport Police spokesman said: "Just before 12.30pm today, we were called to New Malden station following reports that a person had been struck by a train.

"Officers are on scene alongside paramedics from the London Ambulance Service however a man has sadly been pronounced dead.
"Officers are now working to identify the man and inform his family.
"This incident is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner."
A spokeswoman for the London Ambulance Service added: "We were called at 12.28pm to reports of a person hit by a train at New Malden Railway Station.
"We sent a single responder in a car, an ambulance crew, an incident response officer and an advanced paramedic to the scene, with the first of our medics arriving in under four minutes.
"Sadly, a person was dead at the scene."
