The fire began on Monday evening between the Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus and Masjid railway stations in Mumbai, India.

Train services have been suspended leaving hundreds of passengers waiting at the stations.

Multiple fire trucks and six water tankers have been dispatched to fight the blaze.

A local newspaper, The Hundu, claim that it is a Level three fire, which means it has a high intensity.
